Entering a cell phone number in the phone number field of the two-factor authentication results in an error.

Please register by giving the "country code" in front of the cell phone number.

e.g.

If your cell phone is in the UK and the number is "012-3456-7890",

Give the UK country code (+44) first, then "+441234567890".
